 Amber Johnson is a licensed broker and founder of Pillar Real Estate, serving home buyers and sellers throughout San Luis Obispo County. Based in Paso Robles, she focuses on North County communities including Templeton, Atascadero, San Miguel, Creston, and Heritage Ranch. She also serves clients in San Luis Obispo, coastal communities including Cambria, Morro Bay, Los Osos, and Pismo Beach, and South County communities including Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Nipomo.

Licensed in real estate since 2013, Amber founded Pillar Real Estate in 2021. Her primary specialty is helping sellers make informed decisions about home preparation, pricing, and marketing. She develops a plan around each property’s condition, location, likely buyer audience, and the seller’s goals. Her digital marketing approach includes targeted social media campaigns, property videos, and online promotion designed to attract qualified buyers.

As a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE®), Amber helps buyers and sellers negotiate favorable prices and terms. She evaluates the full offer, including financing, contingencies, timing, and other details that can affect a successful closing. Throughout the transaction, she provides clear recommendations and helps clients understand their options.

For buyers, Amber offers guidance on neighborhood selection, property evaluation, offers, inspections, and due diligence. Her experience includes relocation, rural homes and acreage, land purchases, and new construction. Whether clients are comparing Paso Robles with Templeton, considering a coastal move, or exploring homes elsewhere in San Luis Obispo County, she helps them weigh the practical differences and find a property that fits their priorities.

A Central Coast native, Amber graduated from Paso Robles High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Her local roots inform her understanding of the county’s communities, while her transaction experience helps clients navigate the details of buying and selling here.

As a Homes for Heroes® affiliate, Amber also serves eligible teachers, firefighters, military personnel, law enforcement officers, and healthcare workers. Through the program, qualifying clients can receive savings when buying or selling a home.

Outside of real estate, Amber enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, taking hot Pilates classes, and visiting local wineries and restaurants.
